Visual & the George Bernard Shaw Theatre was an open competition scheme that Terry Pawson Architects won out of 800 entries in 2004. The competition was run by Carlow County Council, Ireland. I was appointed as Project Architect for RIBA stages A to E.

My role involved liaising between the Client and the Director at TPA as well as developing the Competition Brief and various aspects of the design. I was in charge of a team to deliver presentation drawings, sketches, 3D animation to our Client throughout the various stages of the design. I also worked with a team of consultants : Structural , M&E, Theatre , an Acoustician and an Art Gallery Consultant. I worked closely with the Quantity Surveyor to develop the Cost Plan, obtain pre contract quotations and ensure that the project remained within the very limited budget we were given. I assisted in coordinating both the Tender package and the Construction Issue drawings, specifications, risk assessments ,finishes schedules, as well as issuing separate tender packages to Glazing contractors and Theatre specialists. The project completed in February 2009.

Salvatore Ferragamo, Bond Street,
London.

This project involved a new fit out for Salvatore Ferragamo, a luxury brand fashion retailer. Although the area was only 250 sqm, the project value came to £900 000 of which client direct costs accounted for £400 000. It was a very high spec fit out and as project leader my role invloved implementing the Client's concept and taking the project through to completion.

I co-ordinated various trades from both UK and Italy and liased and complied  with strict planning regulations of Westminster City Council.
